Hey there West Chester! I’m Dr. Kalia Reynolds, and I’m so excited to welcome you to Talking the WCASD Way! If we haven’t already met, I serve as the Deputy Superintendent and Chief Academic Officer here in the district, and one of my favorite parts of this job is connecting with families, staff, students, and our wider community.
That’s really what this podcast is all about, building more ways for all of us to stay connected, share stories, and celebrate the amazing things happening here in the West Chester Area School District.
Each episode, we’ll take a closer look at topics that matter to our families and community, from what’s happening inside our classrooms, to district updates, to the incredible people who make WCASD such a special place. My hope is that when you listen, you’ll feel like you’re sitting down with a friend (or two) who just wants to keep you in the loop and share some good news along the way.
We’ll also bring in voices from all over, students, teachers, administrators, and maybe even you! You’ll hear firsthand about the ideas and efforts shaping our schools, and how they connect to the big picture of helping every student achieve their personal best.
Episodes will drop every other Wednesday, and they’ll be easy to listen to — just 15 to 20 minutes, so you can catch an update during your commute, while you’re cooking dinner, or even on a quick walk. Trust me, I know you’re busy!
